...but call me Deb.

I am an integrative therapist, which means I am flexible to tailoring the type of therapy in order to meet the needs of the individual.  I believe we are all unique  human beings, so it’s important to be open-minded with what works best for you and your circumstances.  I use several different treatment modalities, to include: EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

When any of us get the opportunity to reflect in a safe space, we open ourselves up to the amazing possibility of learning about ourselves and our world on a deeper level. My intention is to always create a healthy, accepting, and supportive environment that promotes growth and well-being.  Throughout this collaborative relationship between you and me, I want you to know that this is your journey, and we will always focus on your goals.  Something I have come to know, through working with hundreds of individuals, is the wisdom and knowledge is within you.  You have the answers and my job is to stay by your side, encouraging you, supporting you, guiding you, and creating a secure space for your highest self to come to life.

I take a mindful approach with every individual I work with.  When we are fully present and aware, that is when therapy can reach it’s deepest level.  My approach will always come from a place of respect and acceptance, and I will offer you tools to approach life differently.  Throughout this process, I will encourage you to cultivate an open and compassionate relationship with yourself as you work towards making the positive changes in your life.

The Issues I Work With

Trauma/PTSD, Relationship Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Substance Abuse, Family Conflict, Life Coaching, Self-Esteem, Coping Skills, and Life  Transitions.
